Common questions

Does CircleLab need Internet access?

No. The Android app is designed to work offline and does not request the Internet permission.

Do I need to create an account?

No. There is no registration, login, password, profile, cloud account, or identity verification.

How do I clear saved choices?

Open Studio Settings and choose Clear all CircleLab data. Clearing Android app storage or uninstalling the app also removes its local state.

What is saved on the device?

Only Reduce Motion and large-text choices, anonymous mosaic cell numbers, locally reviewed activity IDs, and current builder selections may be saved in private app storage.

Can CircleLab record a youth incident or private note?

No. The app intentionally has no profile, attendance, behavior, case-management, incident, diagnosis, health, or free-text note feature.

What if the text or motion is uncomfortable?

Use Studio Settings to enable large text or Reduce Motion. Facilitators should also adapt the real-world activity and follow approved access plans.

Troubleshooting

A small offline checklist

  1. Restart the app.Close CircleLab and open it again.
  2. Review Studio Settings.Check large text, Reduce Motion, and local reset controls.
  3. Clear local state if needed.Use Clear all CircleLab data or Android’s app-storage controls.
  4. Reinstall only if necessary.Uninstalling deletes CircleLab’s local state because backup and device transfer are disabled.
